  4. And I mean OF not WR, too much football

  5. And I mean OF not WR, too much football

  6. Over the full season granderson will still be 3rd and have poor numbers. Granderson's 2nd half totals still do not make him a top 25 WR,

  7. Granderson - .266 10 HR 15 BB

  8. Gardner - .228 0 HR 14 SB

  9. Swisher - .288 10 HR 14 BB

  10. Since the AS Break

  11. Oh thx TG.

  12. want to tell us how many trade offers you sent out Matt?

  13. Well I am playing in the #1 league in the rankings so it took a lot of work.

  14. Matt - Looks like he is a hell of a trader. Bravo to him....good job.

  15. darylmple -

wanna explain to the board how u managed to swindle arod, tex, hanley, and pujols onto ure team?

  16. Yeah I like Zimmerman in 2011 also. and it sucks about Strasburg.

  17. Cant beleive that about Strasburg, tough break for the Nats. Funny that Zimmerman makes his first start since TJ surgery the same week Strasburg goes down. I like Zimmerman a lot in 2011 btw.

  18. you can't sling a dead cat without hittin' five guys who've made the miraculous comeback from TommyJohn

  19. Is there an established elite pitcher who hasn't had elbow problems?

  20. Anyone around?

  21. It's good to see something football related up. I really don't consider opposing defenses at this point though. You almost never can figure out which defense will be good from year to year. A few wks before the trade deadline I start looking at it though.

  22. New Article by EF posted on the football page. Check it out!

  23. Hawpe released, Welker starts preseason game

  24. Still looking forward to a podcast.

  25. I guess... learning the play book... But he only had 3.6 ypc... That has nothing to do with being a rookie in a passing offense. I would like to see what he could do with Addai out of the way. I've never thought much of Addai since way back when I saw him playing for LSU. I just dont know about Brown.. I know that last year is a small sample size, and I liked him coming out of college after seeing him play a few games... But 3.6 ypc on 78 attempts, one of those 78 was a 45 yarder... take that away the ypc goes down even more.

  26. It is rare for rookies to come into a passing offense and be successful it normally takes a couple years to get comfortable.

  27. That's what I thought last year, but now I wonder if Brown was just overrated or overhyped because he really hasn't been very impressive

  28. I think Donald Brown will take more and more of Addai's carries this year.

  29. well yeah, they are the better runners of the four... But Brown and Thomas also share carries the most. Forte and Addai are used in the passing game more. Thomas and Brown also have more injury history, though all four have been hurt... Then again, "injury prone" applies to every player when you're talking about football. I just think it's interesting to see what people might think about the 4 of them because they are all getting drafted around the same time.

  30. I take Thomas and Brown and I don't think it is very close.

  31. Been hard to write lately with football gearing up... Here's something to debate: which two RBs would you rather have in a PPR league?: P. Thomas, R. Brown, M. Forte, or J. Addai?

  32. Cubs trade D. Lee to Braves... I guess I should write about that.

  33. yeah busy with football.

  34. Quiet around here the last few days...

  35. Nah someone stole his stash and he is uptight.

  36. WTF Lincecum? Easily becoming the biggest bust of the year. All that damn hair in his eyes...

  37. I hear you... If you can't move Cutler for Schaub eventually, it might work out for you.. Cutler has one of the best arms in the league, so if he buys into this thing mentally he could be huge.

  38. I mainly did it because of my needs and I decided it was enough value. I got Brady in the 4 th rd and while I expect him to outperform cutler I don't think it will be by enough.

  39. I will say that I'm intrigued by the prospect of Cutler being part of a pass-happy offense... Its just that as far as I've known and paid attention, Mike Martz offenses have pretty much underachieved. He got a lot of cred with the Rams team, but Bruce, Holt, and Warner were all very disciplined. Forte ain't no Faulk either. I don't know if Hester and Cutler have the discipline to execute that offense. Especially when the games on the line - Cutler thinks he can win games by throwing the ball right through a defender.

  40. One of the members of our league requested a trade gets processed. If you have the time it would be appreciated.

  41. Yeah EF I agree about Brady but I had to get off of Bush as my #2 rb I have enough depth at Rc where I am trying to upgrade Cutler to Schaubb if I can do that I like it if not I will find out how Cutler will do.

  42. I'd rather have brady than Cutler, but I guess Stewart solves your RB2 problem? Hard to say what will happen with Carolina RBs this year. Stewart is good but coming off an injury, and the main reason he had so many yds last year was because Williams was hurt. Cutler didn't need Mike Martz, he needed Brandon Marshall and an O-line. They still wont be able to run the ball either. good luck with that. Unless you believe that Knox is the next Miles Austin... (which he's not)

  43. We had a request to process the pending trade in our league if you have the time.

  44. Traded Brady for Stewart and Cutler I really needed a #2 rb bad any thoughts?

  45. oops JT

  46. ok great thx TG.

  47. Lots of good stuff on the way I hope, including a podcast and Elite trade stats. Still working our way through Football registrations.

  48. Lots of good stuff on the way I hope, including a podcast and Elite trade stats. Still working our way through Football registrations.

  49. Braun has the name but Cruz has the game I take Cruz for the rest of the year.

  50. Cruz vs Braun comparison is looking better and better all the time very similar numbers with 150 or so at bats less.

  51. Looking forward to the things you said would be done after the trade deadline.Sleeper experts and Elite player evaluations maybe a podcast....

  52. must be a student of the Tiger Woods' school of thought.

  53. I dont know what to do with the deadline passed.

I guess it is time to have sex again.

  54. Thx Cory I wasn't quite sure about a few of the moves but I needed some keepers.

  55. Dal... You made a HUGE deff. in the few days you had to work with ... imo .. welcome and good luck

  56. 7 trades in 2.5 days it was almost like work lol. I am not used to that much activity.

  57. There was a lot of work to be done.

  58. So TG this is my first keeper league. Did I at least make some reasonable moves?

  59. Can you guys process my trade early so it would be a little easier to make deals before the deadline

  60. Yeah... I'm about 90% football and 10% baseball now as far as my time devoted to fantasy sports.

  61. Thanks JT. They did bring back Hellboy, but somebody else stashed him after I dropped him! (I wanted him in the pen anyway.) My Elite team has been frustrating, but at least football is around the corner.

  62. I dont like either over the next 6 weeks. If youre looking for WW power I prefer Burrell, D. Johnson, Thome, LaPorta or Glaus. Older guys, but theyve done it unlike Kila or Carter.

  63. At least they brought Hell Boy back... I guess TG will prefer Killa just from his comments.

  64. Who do you like more TG, Carter or Ka'aihue?

  65. My team is imploding and I've been unsuccessful at the trade table -- frustrating.

  66. rec'd and replied thx TG.

  67. sent you an email.....

  68. daviddal2003@yahoo.com

  69. Yeah, I think I need to explain a little...this is a keeper list in a vaccum...in other words - if I had to pick a player and was starting from scratch that is the order I like them in...also I assumed no flipping in trades - which would drastically change it....

  70. D - whats your email

  71. Knowing me it was probably an attempt to get in your league.

  72. I guess I was just stirring you up TG. But I do think you have quite a few players out of line with their value. Hamilton Latos Morrow Cano among them off the top of my head.

  73. This isn't a draft list....this is a list of how I actually value players...in other words if I woudl trade player X for player A then player A is rated higher....this is also a keeper league assuming no flips..but really it isnt that far off from how I woudl draft the players if we could not trade

  74. Well If you drafted strictly by that list I would be happy to be in that draft. But I do appreciate the effort you put in.

  75. Maybe but I still expect Cruz to sweep Pence in every category even if he has 1 15 day DL.

  76. although I will say - that the list really should be each place +/- 4

  77. Cruz will be 31 next year...and his injury risk just is too much to be higher...imo

  78. I wonder what category he will beat him in I don't see any.

  79. Wow I like Pence but ahead of Cruz.... You lost me on that one also.

  80. I don't own him in any leagues but it seems like you went too low for Cano in the rankings.

  81. Do you think they will kee[ sitting Napoli against righties... Soscia is killing me.

  82. Come on Hell Boy have a big game.

  83. Thx JT it was what I was expecting to see .

  84. Thx JT it was what I was expecting to see .

  85. Dalrymple, youre graph is up. Good suggestion.

  86. Thx TG for the response I dropped J garcia figured I could afford to drop a sp and get both.

  87. IF it was me...I would keep Kila

  88. Killa for M laporta? I dont want to give up too early?

  89. only if you get gooed value. He is still going to be good really good.

  90. only if you get gooed value. He is still going to be good really good.

  91. thoughts on this: move Cabrera before deadline since no one is pitching to him.

  92. no hitter broken up after 8 2/3 inngs infield single. Morrow was awesome up till there.

  93. At least it is just a bruise.. I just traded for him I assumed the worst.

  94. wtf...Somebody explain to me how MLB players can got "Cocked" with so many line drives during BP. A-Rod's the most recent victim. This ranks right up there with post game celebration injuries.

  95. At a glance it seems in most leagues the leader in Hlds is no worse than 6 th place.

  96. At a glance it seems in most leagues the leader in Hlds is no worse than 6 th place.

  97. I think a graph of hlds vs place in league would be an interesting one.

  98. I think a graph of hlds vs place in league would be an interesting one.

  99. yeah in my HTH money league I have hanrahan Greinke and perez but at least I have Dunn. side bet of 20 this week .

  100. yeah 0-2 so far though... Unfortunately I also own Hanrahan, Lindstrom, and Nolasco. A triumvirate of bed-shitters tonight. Suh-weet!
